Then take Venice Treacle ; Mithridate of each three pounds and ahalf, which diffelve inthe above referved Spirit: digefementy days, Shaking it two or three times a day 3 then lev it fertle, and decant off the clear Tintlure ; to the Magma pur the other half of the Cordial wa- ter, mix , digeft and fhake it for twenty days , then decant and mix it with the former Tinfure.. Mix thee Yinitures with the above pre- pared Syrup,and keep them in a Glafs clofe flopt for ufe. This if you fo please you may perfume with Musk , Ambergrife of each a Scruple. I]. This Water is good in Sadnefs, Melancholy; and de- jeétion of Mind; is profitable againft Pains and affliétions of the Spleen and Hypochondres. It isa very great Cordial.revives all the Spirits , exhilarates, and makes merry a fad and drooping Heart.
