    Dapuy’s Improved Anti-hemorrhoidal IP late. My anti-hemorrhoidal apparatus consists of a plate of cast steel of the best quality magnetised. This magnetic plate carried on the body (usually suspended over the chest) has the effect of curing hemorrhoids. 5 The accumulation of the magnetic fluid or magnetization of the plate is proportioned to the intensity of the disease. The use of this anthhemorrhoidal plate is not inconvenient, and while curing hemorrhoids is rather beneficial than prejudicial to the general health of the wearer. 10 In witness whereof, I, the said Francis Dupuy, have hereunto set my hand and seal, this Seventeenth day of November, in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and seventy.
