Tomasini^ Improvements in Hespirators. cords as usual, or by means of wires passing across the cheeks, and bent so as to pass over the tops of the ears, by which means the attachment would be concealed by the whiskers of men or the bonnet strings of women. My next improvement consists in applying the loose fur or hair of animals to the inside of respirators, either in addition to or as a substitute for the ordinary materials employed for that purpose, which will be found materially to increase their beneficial effect.
