Doctor Ekdawi saw, Jan. 69, case conference. Intense fear of death, cold ghastly death in the war. (I have been dying.) M.H. Bishop June 1968 The subject, the name of the artist and the date are inscribed by Edward Adamson on the verso. The inscription suggests that the painting was looked at by a psychiatrist six months after its execution, as part of a case conference
