As the object of the prescriptions given on pages 111 to 119 was to meet, not only cholera, but most of the allied diseases which occur in the Summer season and in cholera times, they wUl not be found too numerous, nor the selection difficult for any one who has a passable knowledge of these diseases and their remedies. The opinions of Drs. Budd, Petenkofer, Niemeyer and others, given on pages 5 and 6, which it seems were formularized by Dr. Simon, require no alteration.
