    Special Examinations at the Request of Parents Since 1962 with the co-operation of the head teachers, we have once a year given all junior and secondary school children a letter to take home to their parents. This informed them that a school doctor would shortly be visiting the school, offering them, if they had any worries about their child, opportunity of having a medical examination. The overall response, as mentioned in my report for 1963, has not been good and has not, in my view, justified the enormous amount of work which the distribution, collection and annotating involved. The distribution of these letters was, therefore, discontinued at the end of 1964. The following table shows the result of three years work.
