Red- brown or yellowish, neutral, spec. grav. .88; contains cymene, C10HU, thymene, C10H16, and thymol, C10HuO. Oleum Monardae, from the herb of Monarda punctata, Lin. Reddish-brown or yellowish, neutral, spec. grav. .90; con- tains thymol. Oleum Hedeomse, from the herb of Hedeoma pulegioides, Pers. Pale yellow, neutral, spec. grav. .94; contains oxygen.
