<p>Dr AC Allison lectures on how the immune system works to fight against infectious disease. He differentiates between innate immunity and acquired immunity. Innate immunity can be passed on genetically as an acquired response. Acquired immunity is more complex and can come about naturally as the body develops its own resistances to disease or can be induced artificially by the process of vaccination. 6 segments.</p>
