Number four of six from the 'Harmful Insects of the Congo' series of trade cards issued by Liebig's Extract of Meat Company in 1956. The front has chromolithographs of a man sleeping in a hut with two rats, and the rat flea species Xenopsylla cheopsis. The reverse has an advertisment for Leibig meals with beans, bacon and tomato, and information about the ecology of Xenopsylla cheopsis.
