<p>A flat anatomical figure made of wood, on both sides of which have been laid down colour lithographs on paper representing (recto) anterior view of veins, bones and muscles and (verso) muscles, nerves, spinal column and tendons. Attached to the figure by metal hooks are numbered detachable paper lithographs laid down on metal representing different organs. The whole is contained in a flat box which opens outwards from the middle, and the insides of which are covered with lithographs representing named areas or regions of the body</p>
