![C 232 ] A Physician, who is called to a Patient as a Second, fhall by no Means caufe the former to be rejected, neither fhall he make any Innovations in the Practice, (extreme Cafes excepted) before he fhall have confulted with him; and to prevent all occasions of Frauds of this kind, whom¬ ever is fent for to a fick Perfon, fhall firft enquire of the Patient, or By-ftanders, whether any Phyfician has already prefcri- bed, under Penalty of twenty Shillings. Afterwards however,as the Patient di¬ rects, he may either alone, or jointly with the former, or any other, proceed in the Affair.
