The circle which equates or divides the globe of our earth into two equal hemispheres, being equally distant from the north and south poles. When we speak of this circle, in reference to the sun or stars, we call it the equinoctial. Equilateral. Having all sides equal. Equilibrium. Equality of weight or power. Equinoctial points, or equinoxes. Those two points of the globe where the ecliptic ahd equatorial circles intersect each other. Ether.
