    7 I GROUP II. Acute Diseases of the Lungs. There is very little to say concerning the diseases of this group, except that they carry off some of our healthiest risks in the very prime of life. I know of no way of guarding against loss from this source unless it be by the exercise of caution in accepting persons whose occupation exposes them to sudden and great changes in tem- perature.
