Photograph of a 16th century naval medicine chest taken slightly from above with lid compartment open. The chest was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 10th April 1946 (R103/1946) but is not held by Wellcome Collection. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 16th October 1935 (PHO 5371).
