Photograph of a 16th century naval medicine chest taken slightly from above open showing decorative interior of lid and contents. The chest was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 10th April 1946 (R103/1946) but is not held by Wellcome Collection. Another photograph of this image was accessioned by the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum on 16th October 1935 (PHO 5374).
