Description

Leaflet illustrated with a woodcut of an itinerant hair-dresser working on a wig on a stand with a comb, and scissors in his apron pocket. A poem describes his work and promotes the Grand City Lottery (of freehold houses) organised by Hodges & Co. of 2 Cornhill and 149 Oxford Street, London. Includes a small woodcut of the Grand Hotel, 9 Skinner Street.
