What you’ll do

Join members of our Visitor Experience team for a conversation about death as represented in art and literature, and take part in a creative writing activity.

You’ll be able to share your own experiences, and explore how depictions of death vary throughout time and culture.

You’ll talk in small groups, each with a facilitator who will provide conversation prompts and an activity. You’re free to say as much or as little as you’d like. Or you can just listen.

This is a relaxed event, so you can move around during the session. There will also be a chill-out room with cushions, blankets, ear defenders, earplugs and stim toys. Tea and coffee will be provided.

This event is recommended for people aged 18 and over.

We want to create a confidential and safe space for everyone, so we’ll be closing the doors at 11:45 and latecomers will not be able to join the event after that.
