Join colleagues from Wellcome Collection’s Library and Visitor Experience team for a unique creative writing workshop inspired by items from our collections.

We’ll be looking at drawings of birds, observing their shapes, colours and features. We’ll explore how the birds’ names, appearance and behaviours might inspire our writing. You can try out things like descriptive writing, developing characters and telling stories about migration.

The workshop is open to all levels, from beginners who want a place to start to more experienced writers who may be looking for a spark for their next piece.
