What you’ll do

Join us for a group session of gentle movement for wellbeing, led by dance artists from Micro Rainbow. The emphasis is on including everyone, listening to your body, connecting with others and having a good time.

With two experienced facilitators, you’ll explore different styles of gentle movement and dance. There will be music, and we’ll also offer accessible options for exercises that can be adapted to standing, sitting or lying down. You can go at your own pace.

You’ll have the chance to learn more about Micro Rainbow’s work, including their Body and Movement programme, which offers a space for people to overcome social exclusion and increase their confidence.

No experience is needed. We recommend you wear clothing and footwear that you’re comfortable to move in, but you don’t need to come in specialist dancewear.

If you want a break from the activities at any point, you can head to our Chill-Out Room to lie down or relax. There will be low lighting, comfortable seating, cushions, mats, ear defenders, earplugs and sensory toys.
