If you're pregnant, a parent-to-be, a parent or a carer, you're welcome to spend a morning with us, learning about and practising tools that support wellbeing, healing and connection.

Parents and carers can bring a baby under 12 months old. Together with your baby, you’ll take part in restorative exercises such as gentle movement, breathing and listening.

The workshop space will offer calm sensory stimulation for grown-ups and babies, where you can unwind and engage at your own pace.

This is a relaxed event, with a Chill-Out Room with low lighting, comfortable seating, cushions, mats, ear defenders, earplugs and sensory toys. A free lunch will be provided.

The activities are designed to support relaxing with babies. A second sibling is welcome to accompany you and playworkers will be on hand for support.

At the end of each session, you’ll receive something to help you practice what you’ve learnt at home.

Location

We’ll be in the Forum. To get there, take the lift or stairs up to level 1 and then follow the signs through the ‘Being Human’ gallery.

Place not guaranteed

Booking a ticket for a free, in-person event does not guarantee you a place. You should aim to arrive 15 minutes before the event is scheduled to start to claim your place. If you do not arrive on time, your place may be given to someone on the waiting list.

Waiting list

If this event is fully booked, you may still be able to attend. We will operate a waiting list, which opens 30 minutes before this event starts. Arrive early, and we’ll give you a numbered ticket. If there are any unfilled places just before the start time, we will invite you to enter in order of ticket number.

Relaxed

This is a relaxed event, which means that if you need to, you are welcome to move around and make noise at any time.
