![From Sir Hector C. Cameron, M.D., Professor of Clinical Surgery in the University of Glasgow. 18 Woodside Crescent, Glasgow, j6th December, 1907. I have known Dr. A. A. Young since his student days, and for the last seven years or more he has acted as my class assistant and as my substitute in the wards when- ever I am absent. In the latter capacity he has had very unusual opportunities of acquiring experience and skill in surgical practice, while in the former he has done a great deal of teaching work. This combined experience is the best possible prepara- tion for the duty of examining. I know him besides to be a patient, fair-minded, and just man, and I feel sure that he will discharge, with much acceptance, the duties of additional examiner in a University, if he be appointed to such a post. HECTOR C. CAMERON. [This Testimonial was given in support of my application for the Examinership in Clinical Surgery in the University of Edinburgh, and is reprinted on this occasion with Sir Hector Cameron’s approval.]](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b24933399_0011.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
