Acute meaicai ana surgical cases are aojaitteC. to Stamfora, Rutland ana u-enerai Infirmary. SECTION G. SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA. (1) VhVlSR. BARNACK. The villages oi Barnack, lilsgate, Bainton, Ashton and Ufford have a piped supply of water obtained from the Council’s bore hole at Pilsgate. Quality of water - Samples of raw water at source taken during the year lor bacter- iological analysis have shown very satisfactory results. Uuai:itit^ of water - Has been adequate. It is' estimated that 10-lbfo of aweliing houses are supplied airect from public mains, the reraainaer aepend on neighbouring stanapipes, THORNKAUGH The villages of Thornhaugh and V/ansfora have a pipca supply obtained from a spfl?ing at ^hornhaugh. This supply is liable to pollution, an unsatisfactory bacteriological sample having been obtained during mia-suramer. Quantity has been aaequate. V/ater is chlorinated at source ana no other treatment is given.
