![Prevention of Damage by Pests -Act. The Oouncil’s rodent operator died during the iarly part of tiae year, and no successor was appointed. Duties in connec- tion with tbia Act have been carried out by members of the outdoor staff and it was possible to keep pace with demands for this service. The number of ready-mixed poison baits on the market make it a relatively simple matter for householders to deal with minor infestations and in a great number of eases, householders have been issued with sufficient bait to clear the infestations In infestations of a more serious nature, work of disinfection has been carried out by the Council staff. .
