    Another 4 occurred within the first month of life, two of which were also due to Premature Birth. So that more than half (10 out of 18) of the deaths occurred in the first month of life, and nearly all of these were due to Premature Birth. There were no deaths at all from Measles, Whooping Cough, Diarrhoea, Enteritis, Gastritis or Rickets, which all come much more under the group of preventable deaths, whereas it is difficult to know how these many deaths from Premature Birth can be prevented, except to a limited extent, by more Ante-Natal examination.
