Description
Collection of cookery receipts, followed by a few medical receipts. The cookery receipts, one of which is dated 1796, are preceded by accounts for a Richard Owen and an Edward Owen, both apparently schoolboys, dated 1779-82. The 11 ll. beginning at the other end of the volume contain the medical receipts: on the 7th of these-most of which has been torn out-is the name: 'Miss Eleanor Owen. Montgomery'. Some of the receipts are by other hands. 'Miss Owen. Montgomery' is also inscribed inside the lower cover. Produced in Montgomery.
