Description
This programme illustrates the nature of the problem and the principles of management. It has been made for the professionally interested audience who may have little experience of such situations. The main teaching points are highlighted using graphics and captions. Part One takes the example of a railway accident but also includes other disasters, both man-made and natural. There are interviews with experts and survivors intercut with appropriate footage. Also included is a section on battle stress using examples from conflicts. Part Two reviews the impact on staff and the treatment options. The programme illustrates the nature of the problem and the principles of management.
