Immunisation is carried out at all the Infant Welfare Centres in the District, viz., Welford, Itri.Kworth, IVloulton anti also at sessif)ns of school medical inspection when re(|uired. Application for immunisation can be made to the County (Jouncil Health Visitor, or arrangements can be made with private general practitioners under the County Council Scheme. Measles—22(5 cases were reported during the year, the highest total for many years. The infection was of a mild type and no deaths were reported. Whooping Cough—64 cases of whooping cough were reported and one death was notified. Poliomyelitis—No cases of Poliomyelitis were notified during the year. VITAL STATISTICS—SUMMARY FOR PREVIOUS YEARS.
