    27. Upon any attendant or servant being transferred to another Asylum, his Asylum record shall accompany him or her, and be entered in the book kept for the purpose. 28. He shall have power to exclude from admission to the Asylum any persons afflicted with cholera, typhus fever, scarlet fever, small-pox, or any contagious or infectious disease, and any person coming from a place in which such malady may be prevalent. (Section 275, Sub-section 5, Lunacy Act, 1890.) 29. He shall avail himself of the services of the Medical Officer of Health of the London County Council in the event of an occurrence of fever or other infectious disease at the Asylum. 30. He shall report at the end of each quarter to the Sub-Committee the amount of leave, other than annual, granted by him to the Medical Staff and taken by himself. 31. He shall report all resignations of Attendants at the first meeting of the Sub-Committee after the receipt of same, whether such resignations are withdrawn before the meeting of the Sub-Committee or not and all Attendants resigning shall be required to attend before the Sub-Committee at such meeting. 32. No medical officer shall receive fees for making affidavits in connection with patients. 33. Whenever a patient is compulsorily isolated by day between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. by the closing by any means whatsoever of the door of the room in which the patient is, such patient shall be deemed to be “secluded,” and an entry shall be made in the books in which cases of seclusion are required to be recorded. The Medical Superintendent shall also report at each meeting of the Sub-Committee all cases secluded since the last meeting. ASSISTANT MEDICAL OFFICERS. 1. There shall be appointed from time to time a sufficient number of Assistant Medical Officers,who^shall be single men, and duly registered to practise in Medicine and Surgery, according to the Act of the 21st and 22nd Vic., cap. 90, intituled., “ An Act to regulate the qualifications of Practitioners in Medicine and Surgery.” 2. They shall be subordinate to and shall act under the direction of the Medical Superintendent in all respects, and the rules laid down for the guidance of the Medical Superintendent shall, as far as possible, apply to the Assistant Medical Officers.
