Stems about eight inches, fomewhat curved inward, rigid, nearly three-cor- nered. Leaves, thofe from the root clofely mat- ted, fpreading, very narrow, acute, four-fided, lightly pubefcent, and fomewhat of a fea-green. Spike terminating, folitary, flender. Florets all pointing to one fide.
