![Form of Transfer of Security. This deed, made the day of by virtue of the Act passed in the fifth and sixth years of the reign of King William the Fourth, intituled \tlie title of this Act\, and the guardiaris or overseers of any parish or union are the parties transferring or accepting the security, then add] under the direction [or with the approbation] of the poor law commissioners for England and Wales (testified by their seal being hereunto affixed, witnesseth, that Y. Z. of doth transfer the security [de- scribing it], with all right and title to the principal money thereby secured, and to all the interest now due or hereafter to be due thereon, unto V. W. of his executors, administrators, and assigns. Witness E. F. Y. Z. V. W. (seal.) Approved and registered the day of 5 & 6 WILL. IV. Chap. 76. An Act to provide for the Eegulation of Municipal Corporations in England and Wales. [9th September, 1835.] Occupiers may XI. In every borough it shall be lawful for any person occu- claim to be pying any house, warehouse, counting-house, or shop to claim rated. rated to the relief of the poor in respect of such premises, whether the landlord shall or shall not be liable to be rated to the relief of the poor in respect thereof; and upon such occupier so claiming, and actually paying or tendering the full amount of the last made rate then payable in respect of such premises, the overseers of the parish in which such premises are situate are hereby required to put the name of such occupier upon the rate for the time being (a); and in case such overseer shall neglect or refuse so to do such occupier shall nevertheless for the purposes of this Act be deemed to have been rated to the relief of the poor in respect of such premises from the period at which the rate shall have been made in respect of which he shall have so claimed to be rated as aforesaid: Provided always, that where by virtue of any Act of parliament the landlord shall be liable to the payment of the rate for the relief of the poor in respect of any premises](https://iiif.wellcomecollection.org/image/b24878716_0001_0694.jp2/full/800%2C/0/default.jpg)
