S I R, \ FOR many years I have been fubjedf to a rheumatic Gout, which gradually increafed in the feverity and length of its attacks; infomuch thatlaft year I was not a fingle day free from it, and fix months of that time I was confined to my bed ; in the courfe of this fevere illnefs I was attended by gentlemen of the faculty, and took an in- finite quantity of drugs, but without being fenfible that I was benefited by anything that was done for me ; In June laft I was again feized with my cruel diforder, and had been confined feveral days, when a gentleman of rank and fafhion, for whom I was doing fome bufinefs, with great marks of friendfhip advifed me to fend for you ; I did fo, and by following your advice in point of diet, and taking one of your pills every night, I was able to go out ta my bufinefs in the courfe of eighteen or twenty days ; and from the firft, the pills gave me infinite relief, by abating my pains,and procuring me fome rerrefhing deep every night. You are welcome to add this cafe of mine to thofe you have already printed, that thofe who may be fuffering in the fame unhappy way, may know where to find relief.
