Eighty-four samples were taken and examined under these Regulations during the year as follows :— Bacon, 2 ; Beef, i; Black Pudding, i; Bread, i; Butter, 2 ; Butter Beans, 5 ; Cakes, 2; Cheese, i ; Confectionery, 21; Cordials, 10 ; Cream, 13 ; Fruits (tinned and dried), 12 ; Honey, i ; Lemonade Powder, i ; Pepper, 2 ; Sauces, etc., 3 ; Sausages, etc., 6. Butter Beans. Two of the samples were found to be maggoty and mouldy, and the District Medical Officers of Health for the areas concerned were informed of the circumstances.
