One-Hundred-and-Sixty-Third Annual Report. /\./ \y w v/ w W s/\/ w \ 'v/ v_/ v ' A/ The Committee record with deep regret the loss the Institution has sustained through the death ot His Majesty King George V, who displayed his interest in the Charity by bestowing upon it his Patronage and support. 1. _The Board of Management have pleasure in presenting to the Governors and Subscribers then 163rd Report. 2. _The past year has been one of prosperity and a source of great satisfaction to the Committee. The steady increase in the work of the Charity being largely due to the constant care and attention of the Honorary, Medical and Surgical Staff; and the Committee desire to extend their warmest thanks to them. 3. _The Institution is identical in every way with the Out-Patients’ Departments of the Hospitals, and: one of the most important features of the work of the Charity is the Home Visits made by its Resident Medical Officer to those cases whose condition pre¬ vents their attendance at the Dispensary, and it is impossible to emphasize too greatly the real value of this special service. 4. _Working-men, unable to attend during the day, are seen on Tuesday evenings at 8 p.m., and Dental cases on Thursdays at noon. The London Countv CounciPs Clinics for School Children (Soho School Treatment Centre) established in 1916, for the treatment of Dental and Ophthalmic cases, continue their excellent work, and are much appreciated. %
