Commonplace book containing notes on veterinary medicine, racing and race horses, tropical hygiene, household receipts; and extracts on historical and poetical subjects. Writer's signature inside cover. The main entries seem to have been made in 1823, the last date of the winners of the Doncaster St. Leger Stakes: but at the end there is an entry dated 1826.
