Description

Lettered outside the upper cover in ink 'Of Discerning of Men. Tomus primus [?]'. The MS. is a work on physiognomy in tabular form, and appears to be an English version of the 'Tabulae physiognomonicae' by Dominicus de Rubeis, published at Venice in 1639.

1 volume 112 pp. + 24 bl. ll. + 4 ll. (last bl.). obl. 8vo. 111/2 x 18 cm. Original rough calf binding: clasp wanting. Some leaves are perhaps missing at the beginning.
