Forms a niche in which is placed a well-executed bust in bastard statuary marble of Dr. Harvey, evidently taken from a cast of the features after death. No name of the sculptor appears. ^'^ Should be Apley. 55 Should be 43. (See note 22, p. 361.) 66 Should be 1 Sept. (See note 22.) 57 A fine monument, signed L. F. Koubiliac inv' et Sc', with oval medallion portraits in statuary marble of the persons commemorated on a pyi-amid of dove marble. 5^ Not buried here, but probably on the field of b.attle. 59 A beautiful Gothic tablet, signed H. Hopper, London. On north wall close by is the hatchment of this Sir Bliab. 6 Should be fourth son. 51 And coheir. Apparently ten children, viz., three sons and seven daughters. B. 24 Dec. (Par. Reg. ChigweU.) This appears to have been the sixth daughter, the seventh and youngest being Mary, mar. to Geo. Fane, Esq. 55 This was executed by G. Maile and Son of Euston Road, London, at the expense of the London College of Physicians, and erected by permission of the family in the centre of the Harvey Chapel (being placed due north and south) for the reception of Dr. Harvey's remains, which were removed with due solemnity from the vault below and placed therein On St. Luke's Day, 18 Oct. 1883, in the presence of the representatives of the family and of the College.
