    INTRODUCTION. aR ‘THE PROPRIETORS OF BEECHAM’S PILLS AnD BEECHAM’S POWDERS have great pleasure in con- tinu.ng the free publication of “‘ Beecham’s Help to Scholars,”’-as they have much eratifying evidence to show how highly it is appreciated by both Teachers and Pupils. They have endeavoured to make the contents as clear, concise and comprehensive as possible, and they believe this desired result has been attained. This new and enlarged edition contains new features in the diagrams which illustrate the ‘‘ Geometry Definitions ’’ on pages 14, 15 and 16, and in the “ Rapid Decimalisation of Money ”’ on page Io. The Proprietors have al- ways desired that this useful little ‘‘ Help to Scholars,”’ which is distributed free of any charge, shall justify its title, and every other con- sideration has been subordin- ated to this object.
