The Library shall consist of two classes of books, viz., Reference Books and thosfi which may be loaned out. / Reference Books shall not leave the Society’s Offices in Whitfield Street, but may be read in the Library itself. The /use of this Library is free to all members of the C.B.C., and to non¬ members on payment of 6d. per day. Any duplicates which may be available may be loaned to members to take home, or sent to them by post on prepayment of postage. No book thus loaned may be retained for more than 14 clear days. To non-members who avail themselves of the lending department a deposit of 5s. shall be charged, which will be refunded (less cost of postage) when the volume is returned. A fine of 2d. will be imposed for every 24 hours beyond the 14 days that the volume is, retained.
