Dr. Currtz, of Liverpool, in a letter to Dr. Rollo, dated February the 2oth, 1797, speak- ing of the acid applied by Mr. Scott to the cure of Lues Venerea, says, “ I have proved this prac- ** tice in various instances, and can assure you of *¢ its extraordinary success.
