Biographical note
This MS. is apparently unpublished and unrecored. A Latin translation was printed by Perna of B?le in 1563 (Sudhoff: 'Bibliogrphia Paracelsica' No. 54). The first German edition of this work appeared in the same year (Sudhoff No. 57), but the text is different. The work is dedicated to Cosimo de Medici, and is stated at the end of the 'Widmungsbrief', to be 'Ausz unnserem Studierst?bl am 7 Tag Marcii, Anno Salutis. 1563 zu Basel'.
