MS.7780/1: Bevan, Joseph Gurney (1753-1814), Quaker chemist and writer. 1 autograph letter, signed, to his former employee the Quaker chemist and philanthropist William Allen (1770-1843), describing the deterioration of his eyesight (1808).

MS.7780/2: Mitchell, Thomas (fl. 1832). 1 autograph letter, signed, from Stoke Bishop near Bristol to Captain Mairis near Devizes, describing Mitchell's attendance on Captain Squire at the Bristol Hot Wells, the latter's health, and cases of cholera in Bristol (1832).

MS.7780/3: Newnham, William (1790-1865), general practitioner, Farnham, Surrey. 1 autograph letter, signed, to the Metropolitan Life Assurance Office concerning an assurance application by his friend John Paine (1837).

MS.7780/4: Sanderson, A. (fl. 1806). Sanderson was the son of the Irish M.P. Francis Sanderson (1754-1827). 1 autograph letter, signed, to his friend Henry Moore in Dublin, written in Portsmouth and announcing his departure to Madeira and possible the West Indies for health reasons (1806).

MS.7780/5: Tuke, Daniel Hack (1827-1895), physician and psychologist. 1 autograph letter, signed (1883).

MS.7780/6-7: Tulloch, William John (b.1887), Professor of Bacteriology, St. Andrews University. 2 typed letters, signed, to Lieut.-Col. M.H. Gordon F.R.S. (1938-1939).

MS.7780/8: Turnbull, William [junior], M.R.C.S. (fl. 1779-1806), surgeon, director of Institution for the Relief of the Ruptured Poor. 1 autograph note, signed (late 18th century - early 19th century).

MS.7780/9-12: Turner, Edward, F.R.S. (1798-1837), chemist. 4 autograph letters, signed, including 1 to Messrs. Howards, the chemists (no. 11); no. 9 accompanied by an undated printed biographical cutting (1828-1830).

MS.7780/13-15: Turner, George Grey, F.R.C.S. (1877-1951), Professor of Surgery, London University. 3 letters between Turner and Dr. Edgar Ashworth Underwood, Director of the Wellcome Historical Medical Museum, concerning an exhibition to coincide with the 1947 International Congress of Surgery to take place in London; nos. 13 and 15 autograph and signed, from Turner to Underwood, and no. 14 typescript and initialled, from Underwood to Turner (1946).

MS.7780/16-17: Turner, John William (1790-1835), surgeon. 2 autograph letters, signed, both apparently written whilst studying in France (late 18th century - early 19th century).

MS.7780/18-23: Turner, Thomas, F.R.C.S. (1793-1873), surgeon to Manchester Royal Infirmary, Professor of Philosophy at Manchester Royal Institution. 1 envelope addressed to Thomas Madden Stone (d.1894), Librarian of the Royal College of Surgeons, letter belonging to it no longer present (no. 18), and 3 autograph letters, signed, to Stone (nos. 19-21), all 1864; 1 autograph letter from Turner to an unnamed recipient, signed, n.d. (no. 22); 1 letter to Stone from turner's daughter Kate E. Turner, with envelope, 1874 (no. 23) (1864-1874).

Güterbock and signed by him and Ure, no. 48 a testimonial to Thomas Madden Stone (d.1894), Librarian of the Royal College of Surgeons, and no. 49 addressed to the French surgeon Jean Zuléma Amussat (1796-1865) (1839-1844).
