    co-operation. The scheme, allowing attendance of children at private surgeries during school hours, is generally operating very smoothly, but, from time to time, it appears to produce an undue disturbance in classroom routine. The staffing position is such, however, that I cannot seek withdrawal of the procedure meantime. The Education Health Services Sub-Committee Chairman and my- self attended the International Dental Congress in London from 19th to 26th July, 1952. This was a most interesting experience and a special report has already been submitted to the Committee. No representatives attended the Annual Conference of the British Dental Association held in Cardiff from 1st to 5th September, 1952.
