![UNGUENTUM HYDRARGYRI AMMONIO-CHLORIDI. Ointment of Aminonio-chloride of Mercury. Unguentum e Mercurio prcecipitato albo, P.L. 1745. Unguentum calcis Hydrargyri albce, P.L. 1788. Unguentum Hydrargyri preecipitati albi, P.L. 1809, P.L. 1824. Take of Ammonio-chloride of Mercury a drachm, Lard an ounce and a half; Add the Ammonio-chloride of Mercury, to the Lard melted over a slow fire, and mix. Medicinal Uses.—Stimulant and detergent. UNGUENTUM IODINII COMPOSITUM. Compound Ointment of Iodine. Take of Iodine half a drachm, Iodide of Potassium a drachm, Rectified Spirit a fluidraclnu, Lard two ounces; First rub the Iodine and Iodide of Potassium with the Spirit, then mix with the Lard. Medicinal Uses.—Used in bronchocele. UNGUENTUM PICIS LIQUIDS. Ointment of Liquid Pitch [Tar]. 9 Unguentum e Pice, P.L. 1745. Unguentum Picis, P.L. 1788. Unguentum Picis Liquids, P.L. 1809, P.L. 1824. Take of Liquid Pitch [Tar], Suet, each a pound ; Melt them together, and press through a linen cloth.
