In 1720, he had it ap¬ proved by his own States. In 1731, Gr eat-Brit ain, by the Treaty of Vienna, guaranteed it tot is viribus. The Year following, the States General and Den- mark came into it. But their High- M ightinefles limited their Succours to 4000 Foot and 1000 Horfe only. The fame Year the States of the Empire, by a Plu¬ rality of Votes, agreed to it. The Princes who oppofed it were the Electors of Saxony, Bavaria and Palatine, and the Bifhop of Freyfengen and Ratisbon.
