Aubert, Esprit (d. c.1690), surgeon, Aix-en-Provence

Documents relating to Esprit Aubert, master surgeon of Aix, and the corporation of surgeons of the town. Most of the documents are in a single hand, probably that of Aubert himself, and include a legal petition for payment of outstanding fees, surgical lecture and other notes, and a lease of premises in Aix by Aubert's widow to a fellow surgeon, Marc-Antoine Paullet.
