    FORM OF BEQUEST. (Inserted for the guidance of persons who are disposed to leave Legacies for the support of the Hospital.) I bequeath (free of duty) to the Whitehaven and West Cumberland Hospital, the Legacy of £ for which the receipt of the Treasurer of the said Hospital shall be a sufficient discharge. The Governors invite Donations for the endowment of Beds or Cots in the Institution, viz. :— a. —Dor the Endowment of a Bed or Cot bearing the Donor’s name in perpetuity, £500. b, —For the Endowment of a Bed or Cot during the lifetime of the Donor, £250.
