![[ 3- ] • Nevertlielefs, however i-noftenfive in ge- neral the Cowhage may be, -reaibn will dic- tate to us, that where the mucus of the ftomach and inteftines is abraded, or lef- fened, from dyfentery, cholera-morbus, or any other caufe whatfoever ; or where there is a tendency towards inflammation in any part of the inteftinal canal, the exhibition of this medicine cannot be unattended with danger. I fhall not go fo far as to fay, in praife of this my favourite medicine, that I never knew it to fail j but I will fay, that I have experienced more certain good efFeils, and fewer ill confequences, than from any other medicine, given v/ith the fame intention; infomuch, that I have, fince I firfb began to exhibit the Cowhage, had no occafioa to look for* any other vermifuge.
