Ei'periment 18. The Tincture made in the last experiment, was put into a glass retort placed in a sand heat, and the spirit drawn off^, which was flavoured strongly with the flowers. The extract remaining after the process was finished, weighed four ounces and three drachms. It was of the consistence of treacle, very highly flavoured and grateful to the taste.
