Tincture of Indian Podophyllum. mPERIAIj METRIC Indian Podophyllum Eesin 320 grains 36'5 grammes Alcohol (90 per cent.) . a sufficient quantity Add the Indian Podophyllum Eesin to eighteen fluid ounces (or nine hundred cubic centimetres) of the Alcohol, and set aside for twenty-four hours, occasionally agitating; filter; pass enough of the Alcohol through the filter to produce one pint (or one thousand cubic centimetres) of the Tincture.
