This open- '• air sea water swimming pool, with a capacity of 312,000 gallons, '] is situated about 250 yards from the Chelmsford-Southend Roacl 8 on the bank of the River Crouch. J Byelaws, made under Section 233 of the Public Health Act, ^ 1936, with respect to swimming pools and bathing pools came h into operation on 1st January, 1954.
